POETRY SLAM CONTEST

HEY FRIENDS,

This is long overdue. I love to share my thoughts and philosophies through my music and poetry and YOU GUYS listen. Well its my turn to listen to YOU! I am starting a poetry slam contest for ANYONE who would like to join. The topic can be about ANYTHING YOU DESIRE. You will be judged by your peers and friends and the winner will be featured on all my myspace pages and both of my blogs [her-n-eve.blogspot.com and femproductions.blogspot.com]. Depending on if the winner can turn their poem into an MP3, his/her poem will go straight to my playlist so that everyone can here the poem as soon as they come visit my page. Hopefully you will even let me put it on my upcoming poetry cd.
So here are the instructions:

1. All poems have to be written by YOU and NO ONE ELSE. Of course I have no way of knowing either way but I assume you have integrity.

2. Poems no longer than 3:15 minutes. Hopefully a lot of ppl will enter and we dont have time to listen to 7 minute poems from everyone.

3. Poems can be in audio or video format.

If you are recording an mp3 or any other audio file, please upload recorded audio on IMEEM.com or you can record straight from your cellphone at SNAPVINE.COM. All you have to do is sign up it take 2 minutes. Get the embedded code and send it to my inbox or femproductions@gmail.com with the subject titled POETRY SLAM.


IF YOU WANT PEOPLE TO PUT A FACE TO YOUR POETRY THEN PLEASE SEND A PICTURE ALONG WITH YOUR POETRY IF IT IS NOT A VIDEO. ATTACH IT AS A FILE IF YOU ARE SENDING AN EMAIL. OR SEND IT AS A EMBEDDED CODE LIKE YOU WOULD WHEN PLACING PICS ON YOUR MYSPACE.
